As first a first time home buyer I was nervous about entering into the Seattle home buying market to say the least. She was enthusiastically referred to us by a friend and from the beginning she didn't put any pressure on us to buy which I really appreciated after a couple of bad experiences with other realtors. Lara has been amazing from the start to the end. Last year my husband and I were "looking" but not actively getting ready to sell or purchase our house we were in. We found a house we liked and needed an agent, we knew some agents but I contacted the agent "online" and it was Lara, she was professional and knowledgeable. After explaining our situation about wanting property out in Snohomish and were not ready to sell (we had a lot of "updating" to do in our house and we were in the middle of remodeling). Lara continued to check in with us through email seeing how we were progressing with the remodeling. After contacting her about a house we were interested, we met her on the property. She was super nice, sweet, upbeat and professional. I knew we would have a great relationship. We kept in touch through out the summer with properties that we liked and wanted to check out. We were trying to hurry though our long list of things to do with our house to sell. We had Lara come out to our messy unorganized house and tell us what we should do to help the house sell quick. She sure knew what she was talking about because when we finally got the house on the market we sold it in FOUR days in OCTOBER, an unusual month to sell. Lara staged our house so beautifully I was in awe that our house could be beautiful, in fact, Lara and her amazing decorating skills have inspired me in decorating our new living room similar to the way she staged our old living room. Lara has extreme knowledge of selling/buying. I referred her to my parents which are using her expertise to help them find a rare house/property while they are snowbirds. She has been working with them long distance, video taping houses/properties for them. This tells you Lara does anything and everything to make her clients happy. We would choose to use Lara if we EVER sell our house and we will always refer her to everybody even though we have friends that are agents, I don't think they can beat her expertise and knowledge!

We love Love LOVED working with Lara. My wife and I reached out to Lara early in our home-shopping process, before we even knew what we really wanted. Lara was incredibly patient, showing us around several houses and helping us understand tradeoffs. She wasn't pushy or aggressive, and responded to our needs. On our second outing with Lara, we surprised ourselves by getting seriously interested in a house before we had been planning to make a bid. As such, we weren't ready. Over the course of 48 hours, Lara gave us all the ins and outs on how to make a bid, scheduled and completed an inspection with a trusted party, provided helpful guidance on the house itself, and assisted us in putting in a competitive bid. After we lost, Lara was dogged in helping us to find our home, taking us each of the next six weeks--usually on the weekend or after work--to find a place. She was amazingly responsive, forwarding us listings, responding to emails, giving us rides when needed, talking to us late at night as we were figuring out our three additional bids, and texting us updates throughout. She was endlessly understanding of our needs and was ceaselessly kind, warm, and patient. Finally, on the house that we won, Lara's input was crucial in helping us through a complex negotiation with multiple counter-offers. Because Lara had gained our trust over several weeks, we were able to rely on her guidance through the process, and as a result, we ended up saving tens of thousands of dollars from what we thought we were going to spend. During the holiday season, my wife and I like to reflect back upon the reason we have to be grateful. One that we consistently reflect upon is our good fortune. Lara is an exceptional agent with a knack for helping you tread through the tougher parts of buying a home. We found a home we liked, put in an offer, and with Lara's assistance were able to come in under their asking price with a few back and forth counters. This was in a market that routinely saw escalations well beyond the asking price! Later as we had questions about repairs, the escrow process, and closing, she often times would answer emails within a couple hours, sometimes even late into the night. She is passionate about her job, and it really shows. Needless to say, she knows the market, knows how to see a good deal, and make one happen for her clients. I can't recommend her enough!

This review will be the highest I can give due to Lara's consummate professionalism and expertise. We were buying from out of state which meant Lara had to go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with a purchase that often seemed confusing due to our lack of understanding of West Coast Real Estate Culture. Indeed, we found there is a lot more trust involved in West Coast home and mortgage purchasing, so we needed someone like Lara (honest, clear, articulate and specific with information). From the start, she was fun to hang out with when looking for properties. Lara was the perfect mix of hip and cool (my daughter will be living in the apartment) and power business woman. She provided incredible care. She was available, it seemed, 24 hours, in answering our questions immediately. I don't think a call went unanswered for 10 minutes, even with the time difference. She was professional with her constant reminders of what came next and what we would need at the next stage, consistently updating us AS SOON as she had information to help us with our decision. What is most impressive was her ability to understand the market so well with asking prices and the discussions with the buyers to find a working fix list. There was NO HITCH. Lara knows this business. Whip smart, yet able to explain everything simply. The smoothest transaction possible! AND QUICK! Wow! I would work with her again in a heart beat. We happened to meet up with Lara to view a home from Zillow. We were in a situation where our landlords were selling the home we were renting in 60 days. We wanted to stay and she helped us negotiate with the owners while also showing us other properties. She got the owners to accept our offer on the rental and brokered the deal for a low percentage to make it happen. She was super responsive and super on it through the whole experience. We needed a lot of hand holding and she was there for us. We really lucked out meeting her that day!

Our experience with Lara surpassed all of our expectations. If I could give her a higher rating, I would. My 94 year old mom recently passed and we decided our family home of 66 years needed new owners. We interviewed a couple of other agents but once we interviewed Lara our decision was made. That was my situation when I approached Lara. Lara immediately and confidently told me that we could find, visit, and close on a great home in my desired locations on an aggressive timeline. This is our third time utilizing Lara as our real estate agent. She sold my mothers home in 2019, helped us to find a new home in 2021 and then sold our home in Seattle in 2021. I am sure that we must have tried her patience looking for the perfect home for us, which took a year and a half. As soon as we found our new home, Lara rearranged her schedule to assist us in looking at the home. Lara is the best realtor! We purchased our first home with Lara at the height of the market in 2017 at under list price and then sold it with Lara in 2021 at way over list price in 5 days. Does it get any better? In 2017, as first time home buyers, Lara was really patient with us. She held our hands at first and then let us go when we felt more comfortable. She scheduled all inspection appts and personally showed up to all of them. When Lara emailed us seller's documents, she read through them first and told us the highlights. Lara ended up writing nine offers before we won our home. In 2021, we had to move out of state. Of course we contacted Lara to sell. Again she handled everything from cleaning/staging/photography while we tackled our complicated more. Even when our daughter broke her hand a week before our move and we had to stay a couple weeks longer, Lara rescheduled everything with ease.
